Geocache Description:

I've been walking a rescue dog for the last couple of months since the passing of my wife, for a local kennels.  I do it for exercise, and to keep her father/my father-in-law company.  Eric is a Great Dane - very big but fortunately very placid, and this is one of a set of caches that follow one of the main walks we do around Treeton Dyke.

This is a like-for-like replacement of GC5054R 'Marching Home' placed by Mr Atters in March 2014, which has just been archived, and as such is a bit more off the beaten track (Eric was very confused about where we were going...). I've kept the name because at this point Eric knows he's on the return leg of the walk and is eager to get home to his settee!
