We needed a new night cache around these parts, so here ya go! Geophysical Site. Bring a strong flashlight. No, not a little baby one, but a big, strong one, and have a nice walk! Go to the posted coordinates, and shine your light around until you catch a reflector, then follow the trail to the cache!
No kidding, though, this IS a forest at dark, so do be cautious of wiild animals, and be safe. Also, the terrain can be rough, so watch those ankles! The last section of the trail is through a little bit rough terrain.
There are no facilities at the parking area. It is JUST a parking lot at the trailhead.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU SEE RED EYES SOMEWHERE NEAR THE START OF THIS ONE, THAT IS ANOTHER NIGHT CACHE, SO DON'T FOLLOW IT. You won't see red eyes on this route for quite a while. Follow the WHITE to start out.
Have fun! The next 2 full moons are SUPER moons, and that would be an awesome time to enjoy a night walk!
Please do not run this course alone, if at all possible, and make sure you have tracking to follow your trail back. I don't want anybody getting lost out there! I made a return path of orange tacks, but please be aware of where you are while in the woods.
