"Come One, Come All" to GIFF comes to Savannah,
hosted by SaGe (Savannah Geocaching) at Skidaway State Park!
Each year, Ground Speak gathers short film entries from geocachers around the world to show and share their love of Geocaching, especially in its 25th year.
It's been two years since the last live GIFF (Geocaching International Film Festival) event. Ground Speak wanted to skip a year and have a 25th Anniversary themed event.
This year, there is another great collection of entries to enjoy. After the film, you can vote for your favorite and earn a digital souvenir when you post your attended log!
When: Sunday, Nov. 16th from 1:00-3:00 PM
Where: Skidaway Island State Park Visitor and Interpretive Center
**There is a $5/vehicle parking fee at GA State Parks, and annual passes are available.**
Why: It's our monthly Meet and Greet, and we are showing the 2025 GIFF films. We hope you can join us! We'll meet inside. No purchase is necessary to attend.
What: All geocachers are invited to meet & greet, & view the GIFF film with other local geocachers, regardless of where you live or how much geocaching experience you have. There is no membership, and you are NOT required to purchase anything at the establishment.
Please log your attendance with a "Will Attend" and include how many people will be coming with you so that the host and state park can accommodate our group.
We will have a brief introduction to geocaching @ 1:00 PM and start the film promptly at 1:15 PM. We plan to be done by 3:00 PM. (The film should last about an hour). Afterwards, please join us to search for some of the geocaches hidden at Skidaway State Park.
"Lights, Camera, Action!"
**Approval was obtained from the Interpretive Ranger on 10/14/25 to host this event.
