Halloween is quickly approaching and the night before Halloween is known as Mischief Night.
The tradition is thought to have roots in 18th-century English customs involving pranks and unruly behavior on the night before holidays, and It is believed to have become established in the United States in the 1930s and 1940s.
Mischief night now usually involves performing pranks and tricks, ranging from harmless activities like toilet-papering houses to more destructive vandalism like egging houses.
Growing up did you participate in Mischief Night? What did you do? Come out to Wasserhund Brewing in Chesapeake on Thursday Oct 30 2025 at 5:00pm and share your stories. We may not be able to perform any mischievous acts that night, but we will have a few games (with prizes) and will have a few treats for those that show up (so if you're planning on attending, please RSVP so we can make sure we have enough goodie bags).
* If you have trackables you'd like to bring for trading or discovering, feel free to bring them too.
*Wasserhund will be holding Friend Feud (similar to Family Feud) at 6 pm for those who are interested.
*For those collecting Geocaching Treasures, attending this event will help add one to your Celebrating GIFF Treasures list.
