As you embark on this 2.7 km hike along the main loop of this well maintained trail, you’ll encounter numerous historical landmarks that echo the town’s rich past. Along the way, you may encounter diverse wildlife and lush vegetation including many species of birds and depending on the season, an array of wildflowers and blueberries. With spectacular views of the ocean, this trail provides a vantage point for observing icebergs and whales during the spring and summer, making it a photographers dream.
There are rest stop benches and picnic tables along the route which provide the perfect place to stop for a snack or log your find.
