Ši vieta yra labai graži, galima prisėsti ant patogių medinių suoliukų atsipalaiduoti, stebėti jūrą. Smagiausia stebėti saulėlydį arba saulėtekį... Toje pačioje vietoje ankščiau buvo kitas lobis, dabar paslėptas kitoks, įdomesnis konteineris.
Truputį apie Melnragę - Vietovės pavadinimas kilęs iš Latvių kalbos žodžio melns - juodas, ragas - įprastas sausumos kyšulio pavadinimas Kuršių mariose ir Baltijos jūros pakrantėje. Pavadinimą suteikė čia gyvenę Kuršininkai. Melnragė nuo seno buvo žvejų kaimas. 1946 m. buvo prijungta prie Klaipėdos miesto. Tarybiniais metais veikė kultūros namai, nepilnoji vidurinė mokykla.
