this cache is laced where the famous Molly Maquires once hubg out at the loal pub at this location . The Molly Maquires were a secret society in Ireland that fought against exploitatuve landlords, and irish miners brought the tradution to the U.S. and Schuykill County. in thw 1877 and 78 the mind owners hired a group called the pinkerton's to arrest the Molly Macquires they would wait outside the pub for them to come out but unknown to the pinkertons there was and underground tunnrl connecting the pub and the curch right infront of you on the hill which at the time was a distillery.if you eat at the pub you can go down stairs and see the tunnel. 13 molly's were found guilty and hanged. 6 were hung at the courthouse in Pottville and 7 were hung in carbon county courthouse in Jim thorpe.
