Geocache Description:

Welcome to the back roads of Texas. Team Texas Ra Ra loves caching on country roads and so we decided to create a summer series for others to enjoy. This series has 26 total hides, one for each letter of the alphabet. You do not have to do them in order but this is the order we hid them in.

We are all storytellers and story lovers. Please share your story either related to the one we included in the description or maybe you thought of your own for the letter of this cache. We would LOVE to hear your thoughts in the logs. And pics are always welcome too! If you read through the stories, some of them contain extra hints for the hide.

BYOP for all of them. We hope you enjoy the journey and we will see you down the road! Happy Hunting.

Bonus posterity points if you know the reference in this title without reading any further.

After their original run on The Tracey Ullman Show and their Christmas Special in December of 1989, The Simpsons premiered on January 14, 1990. In the first few minutes of the episode, the family is playing Scrabble. Maggie spells out E=MC squared in short hand with her baby blocks. Homer doesn’t realize that his letters spell out “oxidize” a term relating to his profession at the nuclear power plant. Lisa schools everyone on the definition of id, not the abbreviation as she informs Homer. As the grifter who keeps on grifting, Bart plays the nonsense word “kwyjibo” which he defines as a "big, dumb, balding North American ape with no chin and a short temper." It takes Homer more than several nano seconds to understand what Bart has done and of course he reacts in his expected Homer way. Anyone out there still watch the tales from Springfield? Any favorite episodes or characters to report? Our favorite character is the incomparable Disco Stu.
