🌿 CLEARING VIEWPOINTS ON ROBINSWOOD HILL 🌿
Although the CITO is for 3 hours please turn up whenever is convenient and just stay as long as you wish - all help is gratefully received :)
What: We will be continuing to clear viewpoints on Robinswood Hill, continuing on from work done in previous CITOs. This involves trimming back and removing overgrown brambles and scrub in order to open up the wonderful views over Gloucester and surrounding countryside.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own work gloves and if you wish to use your own tools (secateurs, shears, loppers) please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Parking: Is available on Fox Elms Road (CITO coords) or on street parking closeby. Please note this is not the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: Meet up on Fox Elms Road for 09:30 to collect tools, then we will make our way to the viewpoint that we are currently working on - please see waypoint. For anyone arriving after 09:30 on the day, please head for the work site waypoint where you will find us.
Health and Safety: The session will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
