こちらは群馬県の名湯「草津温泉」にある共同湯のひとつ「翁の湯」♨️
草津温泉には共同湯は現在は19箇所あります。
草津温泉は実は温泉の自然湧出量ではなんと！日本一なんです。
毎分32300リットル以上の温泉が湧き出しているという。源泉は6つ。
こちらの翁の湯(おきなのゆ)は「湯畑源泉」。
湯畑からは歩いて10分ぐらいと少し距離があるものの意外と人気のある穴場 共同湯です。
まあまあの広さと共同湯の中では新しい方なことと、温度も熱すぎないことが多いからかな？♨️
最近は一般の方が入れる草津温泉共同湯は少なく、町民以外の入浴不可の看板を多く見かけます。
今回も前に来たら、地元の方がどうぞと声をかけて頂き入ることに。宿泊宿の方も大丈夫ですよと言うのですが、入り口の大きな張り紙は😓ですよね。
今に全箇所入れなくなるのかな💦

Although it's a little far from the Yubatake, about a 10-minute walk, this public bath is surprisingly popular and a hidden gem.
