I was recently talking to a couple of friends about one of my favorite books, Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days. It is a great adventure story and it would be one exciting journey to experience. Alas, lack of time and money are a great obstacle to overcome. So as the next best thing, we are embarking on a virtual transcontinental voyage around the Earth. Below is a satellite image of our seventy-ninth destination.
