Drama Queen Pansy had a lot of time on her hands ever since her best friend, Persimmon, started a pre-med program. She decided to put her free time and personality to good use by getting involved in community theater. Recently she saw there was an upcoming audition for The Music Man, so she got out the 1962 movie for inspiration. Really who could be a better "Marian the librarian" than she? She immediately ordered a pair of studious-looking eyeglasses as her prop. She could use all the help she could get in appearing smarter, as that was not typically her forte.
Happily, she ended up getting the role. After she appeared in the play, a young engineer came up to her and introduced himself as Percival and congratuated her on her performance. He asked her out! She is not sure whether he just thinks she is smart since he saw her in some pretty intellectual glasses dancing around a library on stage, so she is a little hesitant whether to agree. What if he thinks she isn't smart enough for him? What do you think she should do?
