DATE/TIME Sunday 26 January 2002 at 1PM till 4PM or whenever meldnier throws us out. .....
This is the second gathering of WNC Cachers and we hope that there will be many more to come.
Our Goals are simple:
1. To meet other Geocachers from around the WNC area and put a face to all those logs we read. Anyone traveling or vacationing in the area is more than welcome to stop by have a pizza drink a beer and tell a lie or two.
2. The cache meeeting is at an establishment that serves food. Bud no purchase is neccasary to attend, so if youve eaten before arriving dont worry about it....
3. We will try to put together a new WNC Signature Cache to replace the one that dissapeared. We will decide by vote or concensus where to put the cache. If you have a favorite spot or area bring the information and the group will decide.
4. Things needed to make this a sucess:
Cache Container: Spyder said he will supply it
Log Book/Pen/Pencil and disposable camera will be provided by gojoey and bookworm1 (I will also provide name tag and other admin material)
Many small to medium cache items To be brought to the meeting by all those attending. The cache will be placed soon after the meeting after we decide where and by whom the cache will be placed.
5. Another item that may be discussed could be the establishment of a WNC Geocachers Web Site.
6. This cache event will be held regardless of Weather (Save ice storm or A Blizzard of 03)
7. Please place a log notice if you plan to attend so that MELDNIER has an idea of how many to make room for.
