How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

WHY? On November 23rd, 1963 the BBC aired the first episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who, and the show became a landmark of British popular culture and eventually grew into a world-wide phenomenon.

WHERE? In Parksville's charming Foster Park, home to a comfortable shelter and an old-fashioned wooden gazebo (there's a cool kids' playground as well).

WHEN? As it says at the top of the description page, we'll get started around 10:30am for those who like to get their day started early on Sundays and we'll hang around at least until noon, maybe longer if any attendees wish to linger.

WHO? Indeed, "Who" is literally the word of the day as we celebrate, debate, discuss, and reminisce about which Doctor was/is the BEST, and which version is our favourite Doctor.

WHAT? I am planning to have a bit of a trivia challenge for any and all "Whovians" that might wish to attend, and I will see if I can arrange for some suitably-themed prizes or swag to hand out. And if anyone cares to dress up as their favourite Doctor they'll be eligible for a prize or swag as they see fit.
