I'm back in town and wanted to host a CITO at Kit Carson Park, which could always use some help with trash cleanup. This CITO will be held after the nearby coffee Event (GCBF0V6). I'm looking forward to giving back to the community with everyone!
- When: Wednesday November 26, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM (feel free to come earlier or stay later)
- Where: Kit Carson Park (3333 Bear Valley Pkwy, Escondido, CA)
- Parking: there should be an adequate amount in the lots (see waypoints)
- Please bring your own trash gathering equipment (e.g. grabber, gloves, bucket); I will bring some bags
- Group photo: 9:50 AM near the posted coordinates
Trash tends to accumulate in the parking lots, along the trails, and along the fences. I will have a logbook for those who want to sign, but it is not necessary to log a find. Posting pictures of trash you've collected is encouraged!
