This cache is in honor of a person who gave back in many ways to her community, Tara G. She is known for her love of nature and ability to improve the natural world. She treated trees, bushes and flowers that needed more than a little tender lovng care. Although she didn't like to end the life of anything growing in nature, she knew when it was time and took out many trees in communities in Calgary.
Tara, "a tree hugging dirt worshipper, a jewelry maker and artist. Her untimely death in June 2025 leaves a big hole in the hearts of her husband, son and many other people.
In the area of the cache is an Ohio Buckeye tree planted in her honor. Take some time to enjoy the surroundings and feel the pleasure that Mother Nature gives us each day.
"Find someone who grows flowers in the darkest part of you." A fitting comment from her husband, who approved of this cache.
