We, the cache hiders, are part of an Environmental Education class, and through this project all three of us were able to enter the world of geocaching and find our first cache together! This cache is therefore very special to our hearts.
This cache’s location reflects a very natural part of life on Earth, that of erosion and weathering. While rocks seem pretty invincible at times, like everything on Earth they decay and break and change with time and the seasons.
This cache is accessible via a loose gravel path, making it great for finders of all abilities. Note that there is a very small ledge to get up to the path. It’s a quick one minute stroll from the parking lot to the cache.
