While exploring the Brushy Creek Trail North this year after it opened, and looking for a locations for caches, I noted that there were a couple areas that had a lot of trash. One seemed to be a hangout area, and the other seemed to be where trash washed down from the neighborhood above. I wanted to do a CITO, but also wanted to wait until it was cooler.
We will meet initially at the parking area waypoint, before walking up to the target areas (there are two of them). The first target area is at the posted event coordinates. The second target area is marked as a waypoint. While these areas aren't too far apart as the crow flies, they are a bit separated on the trail.
If you arrive after we have left the parking area, continue on to the posted event coordinates.
The two target areas are along the bike trails, and not along the concrete trail. As such, we will be working in areas with higher grasses and other plants. Long pants are suggested. I DO NOT recommend wearing flip-flops (you know who you are!). DO bring yourselves, gloves, grabbers, bug spray, hats, water, etc. I will bring trash bags.
