Welcome to the "The 12 Days of Cachemas," a cache series running from December 25 to January 5 modeled after a familiar Christmas song. Starting on December 25th, one new cache in this series will be released each day, until the song is complete. Each cache in this series will contain a clue. Collect all the clues in order to figure out the location of the 2025 CACHEMAS BONUS .
Henrico's Glover Park is undergoing its second phase of improvments as this cache is published. The $50 million project will result in the park having :
- County’s largest dog park at 1.75 acres. The dog park will have natural grass with shade structures and seating.
- 3.1 miles of gravel trails that traverse the natural area of the park along the Chickahominy.
- A shared-use path along Lambert Way that will connect to the Fall Line Trail north of the park along Woodman Road.
- Large playground.
- Outdoor exercise stations/fitness area.
- Two synthetic turf multipurpose fields with lighting.
- Two synthetic turf baseball fields built to NCAA regulations with lighting.
- Additional 1,250 parking spaces.
- New park entrance off of Woodman Road.
This cache is near the eastern edge of the park's property. I have included a parking location, but the park is in transition and things may change!! You will need to make a short bushwhack. The cache is a small sized lock and lock. There is a prize for the FTF and the STF. Please replace as found!!
