Come and join us for a quick catchup to mark the Summer Solstice. We'll gather at one of the best ocean vantage points in the Illawarra.
The summer solstice occurs twice a year when one of the Earth’s poles has its maximum tilt towards the sun. In the northern hemisphere, the solstice occurs in in June, while in the Southern hemisphere it occurs in December. During this time the sun reaches its highest point in the sky resulting in the longest period of daylight and the shortest period of night in the year.
See ya there!
