This will be the 13th Annual event to welcome in the new year at the "Hi Tide", Porthcawl, CF36 5BT.
It is traditionally one of the larger events on the South Wales geocaching calendar and we encourage everyone to come along and join in the fun.
There will be:
Plenty of free parking.
Food available - carvery and bar menu.
We will be in the bigger room on the right. Head towards the bar, then aim for the door to the right of the carvery table. Usually, the Hi Tide puts a sign on the door. If this changes, we will let you know via an announcement on the cache page.
Trackables - There will be a dedicated pick-up and drop-off point for trackables. But, please don't leave any huge trackables for us to have to do something with. Otherwise, you may very well find that your name is mud for the foreseeable future.
This year, we will be partaking in a scavenger hunt and a few other games. As normal, nothing is compulsory. There will be other activities for children too. So do feel free to bring them along.
There will be a fundraising raffle to raise money for the Annual South Wales Event in May. Please do contribute a few raffle prizes if you can.
Camo bags will also be available, as normal.
