Repeating a fun series I did in Salt Lake City (and surrounding counties), this time basing the sun at the clock tower in Riverfront Park. Caches are places approximant the correct distance from the “Sun”, using the scale of 1 mile equals 1 Astronomical Unit, or the Mean Distance from the Sun to the Earth.
Uranus, seventh planet in distance from the Sun and the least massive of the solar system’s four giant, or Joven, planets, which also include Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. At its brightest, Uranus is just visible to the unaided eye as a blue-green point of light.
Number of Moons: 28
Planetary Ring System: 13 known rings
Mean distance to the Sun: 2,870,658,000 km/19.2 AU
