Step back in time. Take a hike or bike ride and get outside! This is about 2.25 miles from the trailhead on Jones Valley Road, or a little longer from the start of the Clikipudi trail near the Jones Valley boat launch. Its a beautiful trail and i always felt like this cove has escaped the modernization that has happened around the county.
Did not see a person out here today. Just a couple deer squirrel and birds. I brought my 4 dogs, Christina brought her 2 and 2 more she is dogsitting. A big pack of mutts and they loved it!
The cache is straightforward. Once you get to the bridge, walk downstream til you see the mossey boulder. The cache is a decon container with a $1 large dollar for first to find. Enjoy the hike, find and views. If the lake is up its an awesome spot, but even if the lake is down its pretty cool. I found some obsidian flakes here today and have found arrowheads here in the past! Have fun!!
