This cache is for Annie!!!
A few weeks ago, I found a geocache with my daughter, Annie, and it became a moment neither of us will forget. It was her very first cache—though she proudly called it a “geocap”—and the excitement in her voice as she discovered it made the experience feel magical. From that moment on, she was determined to place one of her own. With a little help, we created this cache together, choosing Central Park as its home because of how deeply meaningful this place is to our family and to Annie’s story.
Central Park has been woven into Annie’s life from the very beginning. This is where we shared the joyful news of our pregnancy and where friends and loved ones gathered to celebrate her at her baby shower. Now, four years later, the park continues to be part of our everyday lives, filled with laughter, movement, and memories—especially during our frequent visits to the Magical Bridge playground. This cache is a small tribute to those moments, marking a place where milestones were celebrated, childhood is unfolding, and a little girl’s first “geocap” adventure inspired something lasting.
