Inspired by the Quick Cuppa (QC) Events in Pretoria, Team_vdlo and GEO936 decided to host similar Events in and around Johannesburg throughout the year, back in 2011. Called "Quick Social" or "QS" Events. These were Kid Friendly, mostly on a Saturday and for just a few hours in the morning. They have evolved since the early days and now they only happen once or twice a year, mostly in January with the much loved "Beginning Braai" that Thomasfamily hosts.
