A big part of the Christmas celebration of exchanging gifts.
Gifts can come in many forms: a package that has been wrapped up beautifully, smaller gifts stuffed in a stocking and sometimes, the gift is comes in the form of helping someone in need.
As an adult, the most fun gifts are the ones given to children. They are so excited about what is in side the package. Not only is it exciting to receive a gift, but to give a gift that you have spent a lot of time making or choosing with care, to see the pleasure in the receivers eyes.
There are a lot of Christmas songs about gifts….All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth, I Ain’t Getting’ Nothing for Christmas, I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas or most recently, All I Want for Christmas is You.
