When I was afforded the opportunity to participate in this new worldwide geocaching series spanning the globe, I couldn't say yes fast enough. However, I couldn't find a famous spot or tourist attraction in Atlanta that didn't already have a geocache. Then I thought of the Grant Park section of Atlanta where my daughter, GeoJayne, lives. There aren't very many caches close to this location, so it seemed like the logical choice.
You will be looking for the back right corner of the small, very colorful container just off the employee parking lot. It will have a large cache attached to it with a locked cable. Tip it up and find the log holder and some swag below! There will also be room for trackables.
If you're lucky, you will be there when the host business is open. Follow your nose and stop in to enjoy a killer burger (with my favorite side, crispy brussels sprouts)! The staff is great, and I love the outdoor seating when the weather is nice.
Try to use street parking. The cache has been placed with permission from the General Manager, though, so a quick stop in the lot shouldn't be an issue, if there's room.
I hope you enjoy this cache container and its location - Happy Caching!!
This cache is part of Cache Quest 360, a Worldwide Geocaching Series in almost every country on Earth, promoting the hobby as a worldwide phenomenon.
