Come join me to watch the first sunrise of 2026 as it comes up over our iconic bridge, Te Matau a Pohe. Attendance at this event will qualify you for the Unboxing 2026 souvenir.
And even if there is no sun due to weather conditions, there is plenty of shelter at GZ and nearby where we can chat about all things caching and plans for the coming year.
And maybe it's goodbye too .. ?? 
Hopefully not forever and I'm sure we will be back to visit occasionally.
I've also heard they catch some nice fish off the pathway near GZ too. Perhaps after the event, we could go fishing along the riverside as a novel adventure for the new year.
