This is not a tree climb but the cache is about 30ft up a tree.
Many people pass this area everyday but do not realize there is a fossil dig site nearby. This is the location of the Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University. Originally, this was a marl pit that Inversand Company mined. Rowan bought the land in 2016. The plan for the fossil park is to bring a world-class museum and a visitor center that focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). The park contains thousands of fossils and provides researches like Dr. Kenneth Lacovara (lead researcher) a window into the Cretaceous Period. Which is about the end of the Jurassic Period, around 145 million years ago.
