Welcome to the "The 12 Days of Cachemas," a cache series running from December 25 through January 5 modeled after a familiar Christmas song. Starting on December 25th, one new cache in this series will be released each day, until the song is complete. Each cache in this series will contain a clue. Collect all the clues in order to figure out the location of the bonus cache, which will publish on January 6.
Eleven Pipers Piping and one "Yule" Log on the run.
This is the most melodious geocache this side of the North Pole! Inspired by the festive tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas," this cache celebrates the 11 Pipers Piping, a band of musical misfits who took their pan flutes, marched straight into the woods...and promptly got lost.
Legend has it, these pipers were so enthusiastic about their piping that they scattered their instruments across the forest, and in their wake, they left behind a cache unlike any other, an ensemble of hidey-holes, nooks, crannies, and suspiciously flute-shaped compartments.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Have a seat.
- Find the elusive "Yule" Log and sign.
- Find the bonus code word. Be sure to note that word for the bonus.
- Move the log and code word. That’s right, once you find them, you’re welcome to relocate them to any compartment within the cache for the next person. Think of it as a game of musical logs.
Please only use the trail with the blue trail sign.
Enjoy!
