In suburbia there are many pockets of bushland, some you may not be aware of until you stumble across them accidently. This is a remnant of the Blue Gum High Forest, so take a wander along the track, admire some of the lovely old trees, listen to the birdsong and try not to get bitten by the mozzies close to the creek - you might want to bring the aerogard!
Parking is available in either Skenes Avenue or Spencer Street. The 545 bus route from Parramatta to Macquarie Centre goes along Terry Road and you would alight at the closest stop to Spencer Street.
