Let's come together at the Midtown Makerspace!
This event is great for new and seasoned geocachers. You can drop in on our open studio session any time between 10am and 2pm.
TRACKABLES are a cool part of geocaching. The frustrating part of trackables is that they often get lost. We will resurrect your lost or archived trackables so they can be sent back out into the geocaching world again--or create Proxy trackables so you can keep your special trackables at home! You will need to bring the six digit trackable number. (Don't have a trackable, yet? I will have some basic tags and/or codes available for purchase onsite.)
Options for creations:
- Print & laminate (you can bring a pre-printed picture of a trackable--or print one onsite ($0.10 for B&W; $0.50 for color). I'll bring my laminator and sheets--we can laminate for free.)
- Cricut & laminate (you can design and print your tag using our Cricut machines (no cost) paper choices are limited--feel free to bring your own--we can then laminate using my machine for free.)
- 3D Print (we'll help you design your tag and get it added to the que--printing times vary, you may have to pick your prject up on another day. $0.15 per ounce of filament used.)
- Glowforge (I'll provide some materials that can be cut and engraved using the laser cutting machine--or you can bring your own wood, anodized aluminum, or acryllic). The cost to use the machine is free--prices of materials will vary.)
