Since we’re already here for the Mega, we’ve decided to stick around a bit longer to soak up everything Tasmania has to offer. Our group is traveling from all over the world for this TTO2 Adventure, and we’d love the chance to meet some locals—provided you aren’t all "cached out" from the recent festivities!
We’ll be gathering in the parking lot to chat and swap stories. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we’ll move the gathering inside to the Mantra (Travelodge) hotel lobby. Please bring along any trackables you’d like to move along and your favorite caching tales; we’ll certainly have plenty of both to share from our global travels.
What is a TTO2 Adventure?
For those unfamiliar with us, TTO2 is our geonic cache profile. The "Adventure" part is travel ideas we have for a global group of "obsessed" power cachers who meet up several times a year to explore the world. Our trips are part-caching, part-tourism, and entirely self-organized—everyone makes their own arrangements, and we provide a suggested itinerary of high-value caches and local sights.
We’ve had some incredible journeys recently, including a trip to Kenya to find GC53 and a 10-day safari. This particular adventure brings us to Tasmania and mainland Australia with a very specific mission: finding the last active Year 2000 geocache we need to complete the full set of 112.
We look forward to seeing you there!
