Let's get together on this first day of 2026 for a short hike and watch the first sunrise of the 2026..
We will meet near the lookout on the top of the Makapu'u Point Lighthouse trail. This hike is uphill but all paved.
Last year there was Taiko drums performance to celebrate the occassion. Not sure if they will be there this year but it would be awesome if they do.
Come early, parking lot fills up quickly and/or may not be open and you have to walk in.
Bring some water and hydrate.
Geo-visitors and muggle family and friends are always welcomed.
