29th January - Odd Jobbing at Netheridge
Parking: is provided at the relevant waypoints.
Where: Find us at the suggest parking 1 waypoint at 1300 or else find us on the reserve - I will create a new waypoint to confirm our work site.
What: Not yet sure what we will be doing, however it's likely to involve bramble, willow or hazel!
How: The warden will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have loppers, and a saw please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the warden will have a supply too, but we will need you to log that you require tools.
If it has recently rained the site does tend to hold water and so wellies are advised.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Gloucester County Council insurance as long as you are working under the warden's instruction.
Dogs: This is a nature reserve with Swan's nesting on the pond, in addition to wild deer roaming the area. If your dogs are reactive to wildlife then they unfortunately are not able to come to this site.
Lastly please make sure you bring along your own refreshments, it can be thirsty work!
