Mark your calendars for the 18th annual Gifted Snowbuster - a winter gathering for southeastern geocachers! (and anyone else wanting to attend)!
NOTE - we are trying out a new location - the New Berlin Public Library!
Event Includes:
- Potluck Dinner:
- bring a dish to pass (let us know what you plan to bring in your will attend log)
- plates, placeware and water provided. Please bring any other refreshments you would like (no drinking of alcohol allowed)!
- White Elephant Gift Exchange (bring one gift per participant)
- Special Kids Gift Exchange (bring one gift per kid)
- Travel Bug Exchange Table
- Chance to share geocaching stories from the past year!
White Elephant Gift Exchange Specifics:
- Ideas for gifts
- a gift you received that just does not suit you!
- something in your basement that you just do not want to throw away!
- geocaching related items (ammo boxes, creative container, TOTT)!
- gift card you have had sitting around for several years!
- anything so hillarious that it's good for a laugh when opened!
- Wrap the gift or place in a gift bag so it is unidentifiable.
- Bring one gift per person
- Kids welcome and will have a separate gift table with kid-approriate gifts (bring one gift per kid). PLEASE let us know in you "will attend" log if and how many kids, so we can plan accordingly!
- Rules
- Time limit to make your choice
- Two choices - take an unopened gift OR steal a gift already opened
- No touching unopened gifts
- Only three steals per gift (third steal keeps gift)
- All opened gifts must remain open and in full view
- No steal backs on same turn
If you can help set up, please come at 1 p.m. If you can help clean up, please plan to stay until 4 p.m. Thanks!
