The beautiful church building and all interior fittings were gifted to the villagers of Penyfai by Mr Robert W Llewellyn of Court Colman House. It was constructed, the work beginning in the year 1899, as a thanksgiving offering for the recovery of his wife from serious illness and was consecrated on 23rd November 1903. The church is dedicated to All Saints' as one of Mr. Llewellyn's sons was born on All Saints' Day. The Llewellyn family travelled widely in Europe and Mr Llewellyn brought back many ideas, which contributed to the church design, from the Continent.
Parking at the pub is fine and positively encouraged. The cache is a simple offset multi, the information for which will be found at the coordinates on an interesting little monument, it is 4 sided, but we are just looking at the side facing you and the church.
