Historically this area was a green field area used for communal grazing, surrounded by inns and near sites of early industry and chapels, evolving from medieval fields to urban development, reflecting Bradford's transformation from a wool capital to a modern city. The site of this building was previously occupied by Collinson's Café, famous for its wonderful coffee aroma, table service, and live piano and violin music, which closed in September 1969,
Many sorts of drink and food available but no purchase is necessary.
