This is cache number 1 in the 12 Days of Caching series. The out of season elf decided to get in season with this punny series! There is one cache for each of the twelve days of Christmas, with a bonus at the end for Three Kings Day. Keep an eye out for clues for the bonus in each of the twelve caches.
In Christmasland, all animals have a Holiday Cheer Index (HCI), which is a number between 5 and 6 that corresponds to how happy they are during the holidays. Christmasologists are testing to see whether birds tend to have higher scores before or after December 24th, as well as before or after December 28th, but their data is rather inconclusive. To see the statistical significance of their data, they will run a one-tailed paired t-test on their samples. The first three digits of the results of the test with the December 24th data will provide you with the last three digits of the north coordinate. The last three digits of the December 28th test will provide you with the same information for the west coordinate. I recommend using Google Sheets or Excel for this, as other software might get you slightly incorrect answers.
