DO NOT PARK RIGHT NEXT TO THE CACHE EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN GET WITHIN 10 FEET OF IT. THE SHOULDER IS NOT SAFE THERE. Park at the designated spot and walk (100-200ft).
Around the US you will see these various historical markers lining some highways but we are always too busy to slow down and see what went on in this spot in our country years ago. So I'm starting a "Forgotten History (almost)" series that will at least have some folks slow down and not forget what brought us together as a country.
