This cache is hidden as part of a set of three geocaches. This is the southern turnaround point for cars/cachers heading north who want to stop and view the scenic lookout (and do the letterbox/hybrid cache there - GCBGPJR). Due to yellow lines on the centre line of the road and a dangerous state highway corner you can not access the scenic lookout heading north. Don't be an idiot and try to do so. Funerals are expensive.
Instead I have given you three geocaches to find here. You should first head north to the U-turn cache, do that one then turn south again when the road is clear. Stop at the Mangaweka Scenic Lookout cache and do that one. Then head south again to do this cache. Once you have got all three caches, pull back out onto the state highway when the road is all clear and carry on north to the township of Mangaweka.
The cache here is hidden on a little used side road. You can do a U-turn down near the railway crossing further along the road.
