I'll be in Nottingham on Saturday, 31st January, and thought it might be a nice idea to hold an event to catch up with any locals who might be around. We'll be doing all the usual geocaching event shenanigans, and since it's still January, hearing about all your plans for the year. You might have worked out the main reason for my trip, given the location I've chosen - we'll be meeting in Bugman's Bar, which is inside Warhammer World. So bring along any trackables, etc., and I hope to see you there. Hopefully, I'll be able to say all about how I've finished the Dark Month challenge (GC4Y0MN), as that's the thing I'm aiming to complete in January 2026 after three years!!
To get to the event location, I've placed an additional waypoint for the main entrance to the building. Enter through there, go up the stairs (I think there's an elevator - it's been 18 years since I've been here), go through the shop and then into the gaming hall. Once there, Bugman's is across the hall in the far right corner. There's no charge to get in, and the parking is free too. There's normal pub-related food and drink available for purchase.
I'll be there early (I'm coming up from London - but by coach, so I didn't want to give myself super tight timings in case my arrival is delayed), and I'll put out some Geocaching paraphernalia, and put out an announcement just before the event starts as to where the table is within Bugman's Bar itself.
