This is the bonus cache for the 12 Days of Caching series. You will need clues from the other 12 caches to solve this puzzle.
It has long been said that the Three Kings came from the east on the Epiphany (Three Kings Day), but new information has recently been revealed. After reviewing the kings’ credit card receipts, it has been uncovered that two of the kings came from the west, and one came from the north. These newly revealed narratives, as well as the clues from the 12 Days of Caching series, will help you find the bonus cache for the series.
One king came from the north. In Asia Minor, he bought three boxes of myrrh. In Colchis, he stopped by the gold mines to pick up a box of gold. He bought two boxes of frankincense in Iberia, and then stopped by Media, where he picked up three more boxes of myrrh. Cappadocia was his next stop, and there he bought two boxes of gold. He then went to Osroene, and bought a box of frankincense. Next up was the Parthian Empire, which took quite a while to cross. Just after crossing the border with Osroene, he bought some gold. In the capital, he bought some frankincense, and just before crossing into Yadavas, he bought some myrrh. In Yadavas, he bought two boxes of gold, and then in Sakas, he bought some myrrh. In Satavahana, he bought a box of gold, and then turned back to head towards Judea. Retracing his steps, he bought a box of frankincense and one of myrrh on the way. In Syria, he bought three boxes of frankincense for good measure.
The other two kings came from the west. They started in Mecklenburg and bought three boxes of myrrh. Then, in Brandenburg, they bought a box of gold. In Saxony, they bought two boxes of myrrh, and then in Bohemia-Hungary, they bought two boxes of frankincense. In Habsburg, all they had to offer was myrrh, so the kings bought some more of that. In Hungary-Bohemia, they bought gold, and then in Poland, they bought frankincense. In Lithuania, which was quite large at the time, they bought both myrrh and gold. Next, they went to Illyricum to buy two boxes of Frankincense, to Macedonia to buy a box of gold, to Moesia to buy two boxes of myrrh, and then to Thrace to buy two boxes of gold. They stopped through Bythnia and Pontus to buy frankincense, and then in Syria, bought three boxes of myrrh to make sure they had enough.
