Bryon was one of the earliest geocachers in the area and even placed his first cache in Italy. I recently realized he didn't have a tribute cache so I'm placing one for him. Byron enjoys solving puzzles, so I thought it would be fitting to make this a puzzle. So here it is:
EVEN though I have dyslexia and number POSITIONS change in my brain. Somehow, I have been able to consistently ORDER numbers correctly. Other people find this ODD and can’t understand how I can keep these POSITIONS straight. Start by choosing a number from 1 to 10, then work thru to get coordinates.
Multiple by 3, subtract 1, use the 1st significant digit
Half, use the 1st significant digit
Add 3
Raise to 0 and add 2
Square and subtract 2
Add 1 and raise to 2/3
Invert and use the 1st significant digit
Invert, raised to 2, invert and subtract 1
Subtract 1, raised to -2, raised to -2, raised to .25, plus 3
Double, raised to 2, reorder digits low to high, add the # stars in the big dipper
