Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 2nd Edition of the Federal Way P&R CITO!

After the successful first edition of this CITO, we managed to pick up in the ballpark of 20 trash bags from the park and ride, but there's still much work to be done. It's a filthy, filthy, nearly abandoned place, with more trash than cars on a standard weekday (I'm pretty sure the only people who park here are parking knowing that it's going to be emptier than the nearby Link station's parking garage)

So how about we come back and continue the work? Meet up at the bus shelters (Posted coords) of Federal Way/South 320th St P&R

32320 23rd Ave S

Federal Way, WA 98003

At 10:00 AM. Bags and log book will be located at these bus shelters. As always, you can take public transit to the Federal Way Downtown Station, which is about a 8–10 minute walk from the park and ride. Buses don't run directly to the parking lot itself on the weekend, though a couple Pierce Transit routes stop at a stop right outside the station, particularly if you're coming from Tacoma or Puyallup.

Approximation of the zone we should be picking up from that I made in Google Earth in like 5 minutes

I will bring the bags, you bring your gloves and/or trash grabbers. Do not climb any fences or walk to I-5 or in general go outside this blue zone, I don't want to get sued or go to jail. Be careful if you go outside the parking lot, particularly in the woody areas south of it, which could be dangerous as there are holes and scary plants there, broken glass etc. I've added the "Dangerous Area" attribute to accomodate this. The park and ride itself also has some blackberries so don't pick up trash from those unless you're using a grabber. In general stay safe

I hope to see you there, and hopefully this 2nd edition can be just as successful as the first!
