This cache was hidden south of Tel Azeka in Brittania Park, just off Israel National Trail.
Azeka was an ancient town mentioned in the Bible, and inhabited for millenia. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the center of Israel. At the top there is the "David and Goliath" viewpoint over HaEla Valley.
Britannia Park is a forest and recreation area in Israel, in the Judean lowland. The forest was planted by the Jewish National Fund starting in the 1950s, and with the financial aid of British Jews, after whom the park was named.
Israel National Trail passes through this vast park from north near Tel Azeka to south towards Beit Govrin caves.
There are many nice walking paths, and picnic areas.
