I have always enjoyed this section of road, especially in the winter months when you can look at the railroad tracks in the valley below.
I remember when there were two tracks going through here. Trains went past every hour in both directions and the sounds of whistles echoed through the surrounding hills. Those were the days! Now there is only one train a day that goes by and usually it is in the dark, during the night.
This is an easy P&G. Not much thought needs to be put into it. It’s an easy way to raise your numbers. After parking at the near-by pull off, look around. Where would you hide if you were a geocache?
