Geocache Description:

St Michael's Church stands alone in a remote area of the parish with lovely views over farmland. The porch is located on the north side because the hall and lost medieval village are in this direction. Beneath the tower unusual feature of a fireplace, which is believed to have been used as a wall oven for baking communion wafers. The east window is dedicated to the fallen of WWI and depicts faith, hope and charity. The little screen is delicately carved with a beautiful pelican. On the wall beside it is a reminder of this building's preaching house days, the stand for the hourglass which made sure ministers didn't skimp on the sermon.

This walk is dedicated to our geohound Wally who sadly passed away to join Sasha And Maisie. She always loved a walk and leaves Louie to assist us now on our caching adventures.

this is a walk of 5 miles, through Strumpshaw, Brundall and Blofield, covering fields, footpaths, quiet country lanes and a stretch of what can be a busy road through Blofield where care should be taken. There are a few stiles and a railway crossing to negotiate. It can be done in 2 halves if easier as roughly a figure of 8 crossing at number 1, Braydeston church where there are a few parking spaces.
