A városrészek nevei sokszor többet mesélnek, mint amennyit elsőre gondolnánk. A Törökőr elnevezéshez több elképzelés is kötődik, ez a geoláda azonban egy helyi legenda hangulatát idézi meg.

📜 A legenda

A történet szerint a mai Törökőr területén egykor szpáhi lovas csapatok táboroztak. A sík terület, a jó megközelíthetőség és a közeli vízforrások alkalmassá tették a környéket ideiglenes katonai állomáshelynek.

A tábort őrszemek vigyázták – innen eredhet a „török őr” elnevezés a legenda szerint.

🟥 Bíbor

A Bíbor szó ebben a történetben nem díszítőelem. A legenda a vér, a harc és az áldozat színeként említi, emlékeztetve arra, hogy a békés környezet helyén egykor fegyveres jelenlét és katonai fegyelem uralkodhatott.

🟥 Bíbor

The word Bíbor (“Crimson”) is not decorative in this tale. In the legend, it represents blood, battle, and sacrifice, reminding us that the peaceful environment of today was once under military discipline and armed presence.
