Happy 2026! I'm not sure anyone has ever CITO'd Sunnyvale's Murphy Park, but this is our chance to clean up this small neighborhood park and maybe also some of the surrounding streets, if desired. There is usually at least some microtrash near the picnic areas, beer bottle caps near the lawn bowling and horseshoe pits, and bigger things can be found along the fences, especially adjacent to Central Expressway.
There is parking at the posted coordinates. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, but this will be a rain-or-shine event.
Bring your own gloves, grabbers, containers, and water, plus raingear or umbrellas as needed. I will have a few trash bags if you forgot one. We will have a group photo at 12:05 next to the parking lot at the posted coordinates.
